Accepted Answer

The employer-sponsored green card process has three main stages: PERM labor certification with the DOL (6–18 months), I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS (4–6 months, or 15 days with premium processing), and adjustment of status or consular processing. Universal Hose & Braid's median PERM processing time from filing to decision has been 54 days. The total timeline from start to green card is typically 1–5+ years.

What is Universal Hose & Braid's green card commitment?

Accepted Answer

Universal Hose & Braid's green card commitment rate is 25%, calculated by dividing the number of PERM green card filings by the number of new H-1B employment and transfer positions. A higher percentage indicates the company is more likely to sponsor employees for permanent residency rather than keeping them on temporary work visas.
