Question 4

How long does it take to get a green card through N/S Corporation?

Accepted Answer

The employer-sponsored green card process has three main stages: PERM labor certification with the DOL (6–18 months), I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS (4–6 months, or 15 days with premium processing), and adjustment of status or consular processing. N/S Corporation's median PERM processing time from filing to decision has been 122 days. For applicants from countries with visa backlogs like India and China, the wait for a visa number after I-140 approval can add years. The total timeline from start to green card is typically 1–5+ years.

Question 5

What is N/S Corporation's green card commitment?

Accepted Answer

N/S Corporation's green card commitment rate is 100%, calculated by dividing the number of PERM green card filings by the number of new H-1B employment and transfer positions. A higher percentage indicates the company is more likely to sponsor employees for permanent residency rather than keeping them on temporary work visas.
