Emily Kesler is a Case Manager at Ellis, where she supports the legal team in client case preparation. She brings a strong foundation in political research, legislative work, and direct engagement with the immigration system across academic and government settings.
Before joining Ellis, Emily worked for Illinois State Representative Terra Costa Howard where she conducted legislative research, performed constituent casework, and coordinated community events. She also worked as an Ethnographic Researcher with Barnard's Human Rights Department, observing immigration court proceedings weekly and producing in-depth field reports on legal and bureaucratic trends.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University with concentrations in International Relations and Comparative Politics. She has been deeply involved in university organizations, including student government and Model UN, and holding various leadership positions throughout.
